I was born and raised in Dublin, Ohio and attended Capital University for my undergraduate degree. After spending my whole life in central Ohio, I decided to move away and attend medical school in Kirksville, Missouri. After some time away, Ohio pulled me back in and I was fortunate to match at my number one choice for internal medicine residency at Riverside Methodist Hospital. As someone passionate about medical education, I was super excited to be afforded the opportunity to be a chief here at RMH. In my free time, I enjoy playing soccer, weekly trivia, and happy hours with my friends.

I took a circuitous path in medicine spending time in the military as a medic, then a critical care nurse and now pursuing cardiology fellowship. I am passionate about community service and find joy in the volunteer cardiology clinic I help support along with our residents. When I am not at work, I love spending time with my husband and two German shepherds playing in our backyard and tending to my cut flower garden.

I had the amazing opportunity to be a part of the NCAA Division I Women's Swim Team at Ohio University in Athens, Ohio. I loved OU so much that I stayed for medical school as part of the Early Assurance Program and was able to move back to Dublin to attend OUHCOM. I knew I wanted to stay in Columbus for residency and was very grateful to match at my number 1 program here at Riverside where I spent my 3 years of internal medicine training. I am currently a chief resident for the program while also applying for Pulmonology & Critical Care fellowship. In my free time, I enjoy training for half-marathons, snuggling with my three cats, and spending time with my amazing husband Collin and adorable baby boy Callum!
